MISSIAJA was born in Venice where he still lives and works. He received a degree in Architecture after having specialized in stage design at the Venice Fine Arts Academy. He spent 21 years teaching design at several art institutes in Rome, Trento, Civitavecchia and Venice. Member of the "Artist Architects International Association", he gained praise and prizes from numerous international juries. After several exhibitions in Italy, he has held, since 1980, eight exhibitions in the United States. He has been invited several times, a.o. by some Italian Institutes of Culture, to exhibit his work abroad: in Austria (Innsbruck and Graz), in Egypt (Alexandria), in Israel (Tel Aviv and Jerusalem), in Portugal (Lisbon), Emirates (DUBAI), in France (Marseilles and Paris), in Japan (Tokyo) and in Germany (Berg, Munich, Gorlitz and Stuttgart).
